My refuge

It's been so long since i've written anything.  I'm sorry blog that i've neglected you.  So, so many things have been happening.  I can't write it all down.  Supernatural things, really, really hard things, heart-breaking things, but overall good things.   

Good because He's continuing to test me, comfort me, lift me, reassure me.  He's here.  He's been here with every step I've taken.  He's promises to be faithful to those who show themselves faithful.  I can't see the horizon, but I know that he will bring light one day into my darkness.  Until then, He will continue to be my refuge, My God in whom I trust.  Those who hope in Him will never be disappointed.  I'm still here, hanging on.  Praise God for that.

Psalm 18

 ¹ I love you, O LORD, my strength.

 ² The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
       my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.
       He is my shield and the horn ^[a] of my salvation, my stronghold.

 ³ I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise,
       and I am saved from my enemies.

 ²⁵ To the faithful you show yourself faithful,
       to the blameless you show yourself blameless,

 ²⁶ to the pure you show yourself pure,
       but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd.

 ²⁷ You save the humble
       but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.

 ²⁸ You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning;
       my God turns my darkness into light.
